Frequently Asked Questions

How do I remove Face Paint?

Apply mild soap or baby shampoo without water first and lather gently with fingers to loosen paint. Rinse off. Do not scrub. If some color remains, gently rub the area with a cotton ball with baby oil or make-up remover.
As difficult as it will be to convince the little ones, we recommend that you remove face paint before bed time.

What  is your Service Area?

We face paint regularly in Plainfield, Shorewood, Joliet, Channahon, Bolingbrook, Frankfort, Lockport, New Lenox, Romeoville, Minooka, Mokena, Morris, Lemont, Lockport, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oswego and Naperville and mostly within 15 miles of the 60431 zip code with no travel cost. Because of travel time, we may require a travel fee of $2 per mile, if your event is further than 15 miles from 60431 and your party is less than 2 hours long.

What Services Do You Provide

We provide professional, fun, energetic face painters to face paint you and your guests at your party or event. We paint for an agreed amount of time but may be able to stay longer if more than expected number of people want to be painted, unless we have another event to go to after yours. Any balance due and cost for  extra time will need to be paid before proceeding with extra time.

We arrive early to set up.

We cannot supervise unruly children (or adults) and their behavior is the responsibility of the parents or hosts.

We reserve the right to stop painting and leave without refunding any money in the event of destructive, violent or inappropriate behavior by a child, pet or adult, illegal activities or dangerous conditions including lightning and severe weather. The Client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries and damage to our equipment and supplies caused by pets or guests.

Children need to be supervised by an adult.

What do I need to provide for the face painter?

We would need a table (minimum 3x3) and 2 chairs per artist. The table can be a card table, dining room table or the picnic table you have in the back yard. A shady spot away from too much wind is needed if your event is outside - direct sunlight will melt the paint (and the artist). If it is too hot or too cold, please provide a comfortable work place inside - we won't leave a mess, promise! Adequate lighting is needed and access to a restroom and water.

In case of inclement weather, please provide an alternate indoor location. If that is not available, the artist reserves the right to stop painting.

What kind of paint do you use?

We use high end, professional, water-based face paints that has superb coverage and high concentration of pigment – it is FDA approved for cosmetic use and is hypoallergenic and non-toxic.

However, there cannot be guarantees that you or a guest won't be allergic to some of the ingredients and we are not liable for any allergic reaction to the paint.

We also use cosmetic glitter and cosmetic glue intended for use on skin.

Anything else we need to know about?

At the artist's discretion we will NOT paint:

- Children under the age of One;

- Crying or Unwilling children (or adults);

- Someone who appears sick, runny noses, dirty faces, open wounds, skin conditions and anything that looks icky.

- Offensive or disturbing subject matter or people.

- Someone with temperature over 99
